De Kooning "Untitled 70" (I think) at the VMFA

During this family trip to Virginia we were able to stop in at the Virginia Musem of Fine Art. My partner wanted to see the Faberge eggs and other jewelry from the end of the Russian Tsarist period, while I discovered their Late Twentieth Century Modern exhibit.

I was so inspired by the work of De Kooning, Rothko, and others of the Abstract Expressionism movement they had on display, and I'm ready to get back into the studio ASAP.
